BLACK BRITISH THEATRE AWARDS

The National Theatre’s transfer of Nine Night at Trafalgar Studios has received three nominations at this year’s Black British Theatre Awards including Best Director, Best Supporting Female Actor in a Play and Best Production of a Play.

Arinzé Kene has also been nominated for Best Actor in a Play and the Book and Lyrics Recognition Award for Bush Theatre’s Misty at Trafalgar Studios.

English Touring Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East’s production of Equus which recently ended its critically-acclaimed run at Trafalgar Studios also receives a nod with Shelley Maxwell nominated for the Best Choreographer Award. Congratulations to all the nominees!
