Now a huge sell-out success at Theatre Orb in Tokyo, the Multi Tony and Olivier Award winning production of The King and I continues to break box office records globally.

After smash hit seasons on Broadway and across the USA including in Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco, a sell-out run at the world famous London Palladium and a 100% sold out record breaking season at Theatre Orb, Tokyo – the International tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s greatest musical The King and I is back in the UK for 8 months only, following hugely successful seasons earlier this year in Manchester, Dublin and Sunderland.

Extra matinees have been added due to popular demand across all venues. The production visits Edinburgh Playhouse, Leeds Grand Theatre, Birmingham Alexandra for a 4 week Christmas season, Cardiff Wales Millennium Centre, Glasgow Kings Theatre, Hull New Theatre, Milton Keynes Theatre, Liverpool Empire, Bristol Hippodrome, Woking New Victoria Theatre and Southampton Mayflower.

Continuing to performing as Anna, is West End leading lady Annalene Beechey and reprising his critically acclaimed Broadway performance as The King is Jose Llana. The two stars have been wowing audiences as the production embarked on its international tour earlier this year and the acting and dancing tour de force will be reunited in Edinburgh, Leeds and Birmingham.
