RECORD SALES WEEK FOR LONDON THEATRE DIRECT

There are celebrations at London Theatre Direct this week as the company has just posted its biggest ever sales week! This company high coincides with Black Friday week, w/c 22 November, where customers accessed fantastic ticket promotions for their favourite London shows. Within the campaign, LTD had many exclusives and worked collaboratively with shows and producers to deliver irresistible deals for theatre fans.

LTD’s Sales & Marketing Director, Ryan Woods, said: “We wanted our Black Friday campaign to deliver a strong yield, as well as volume, for shows. We centred it on See It In Style which we felt spoke to UK audiences who are so excited to see theatre is back and wanting to celebrate this by coming to see a show, treating themselves to a night out.

“It was great so many shows took this messaging onboard and our Team delivered a wonderful campaign, carefully executed with heightened brand focus and targeted social activity. I am delighted that the efforts resulted in the best ever week for sales, that’s a superb result for us and for the industry.”

Keith Kenny for Cameron Mackintosh Limited, added: “We’re absolutely delighted with LTD’s Black Friday sales for Mary Poppins, Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera. Sales exceeded all forecasts, and we were particularly delighted to see that LTD’s Black Friday activity across all platforms did not impact on sales for the one production we were not able to include – Hamilton.”

LTD’s CEO Helen Enright, commented: “It’s great to see that the hard work and creativity of the LTD team has been rewarded by our most successful sales week ever. The team has gone above and beyond once again to deliver excellence to shows and audiences alike. Our focus on ‘See it in Style’ has really hit the mark and captured the essence of the quality and excitement that is London Theatre.”
