BIG MUSIC MOMENTS FROM TRAFALGAR RELEASING

Creating global fan moments is what Trafalgar Releasing specialises in and there is certainly no shortage of big music moments this spring!

In celebration of 50 years of ABBA, Trafalgar Releasing is pleased to announce ABBA: The Movie – Fan Event, screening in cinemas across the US and Canada on 12 and 14 May.

Captured by director Lasse Hallström during their mega-successful tour of Australia, the newly remastered film takes you on a flashback journey to the 1970s when disco reigned supreme and ABBA were royalty. Including backstage footage as well as full-length performances of some of ABBA’s greatest hits including “Dancing Queen”, “Tiger”, “Name Of The Game” and “Eagle”, the film provides a rare look at the hugely successful band during the height of their popularity.

Hot off the press, Trafalgar Releasing has also announced details of a new Twenty One Pilots ‘cinema experience’ coming to the big screen next month. For one night only on 19 May, the band will screen an extended cut of their 2021 live stream performance documenting their album release show for recent LP Scaled and Icy. Starring Twenty One Pilots’ singer/guitarist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, Twenty One Pilots Cinema Experience delivers a psychedelic, reimagined take on live theatre and performance on a massive scale.

Shot on location in London & Brighton, Andrew Dominik’s new feature documentary THIS MUCH I KNOW TO BE TRUE captures Nick Cave and Warren Ellis’ exceptional creative relationship as they bring to life the songs from their last two studio albums, Ghosteen (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds) and Carnage (Nick Cave & Warren Ellis).

In this document of their first ever performances of these albums, filmed in spring 2021 ahead of their UK tour, we see the two, accompanied by singers and string quartet, as they nurture each song into existence. In cinemas on 11 May.

SEVENTEEN, the global artist that is rewriting K-pop history, present their first-ever movie!

Five platinum albums in Korea, charting on the US Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks, and number one on the Japanese Oricon chart, the group is dominating the music charts across the globe.

Don’t miss the powerful performances, in-depth interviews with the 13 members, and commentaries on their past, present, and future they will create with CARATs! In cinemas 20 and 23 April.
