TRAFALGAR RELEASING NOMINATED FOR BIG SCREEN AWARDS

Trafalgar Releasing has received nominations for three of its cinema releases at this year’s Big Screen Awards.

All three nominations fall under the category of Event Cinema Campaign of the Year and include Trafalgar Entertainment’s record-breaking production of Anything Goes filmed at The Barbican Theatre, the autobiographical feature documentary George Michael Freedom Uncut, and the highest grossing UK documentary Oasis Knebworth 1996 which showcases the Manchester band’s landmark 90s gigs.

Marc Allenby, CEO Trafalgar Releasing, said: “We’re proud to have secured three nominations at this year’s Big Screen Awards for our Anything Goes, Oasis Knebworth 1996 and George Michael Freedom Uncut campaigns. Trafalgar’s nominations are not only testament to our team’s efforts and expertise, but also to the range of event cinema offerings making an impact at the box office.”

The Big Screen Awards aim to recognise the achievements of marketing, distribution, publicity and exhibition teams and companies for their work releasing films into UK cinemas and connecting them with audiences.

The Big Screen Awards ceremony will be held on 24 November at the Brewery, London.
