LIFE IN THE FAST LANE FOR FILM FANS

Trafalgar Entertainment’s boutique cinema complex, The Chiswick Cinema, has been working closely with Porsche Centre West London, who have sponsored the cinema’s Founder Members’ bar as part of a bold collaboration between the two enterprises.

Last night (9 March), The Chiswick Cinema hosted a special welcome event to kickstart this exciting partnership, which saw the bar relaunched as the Taycan Lounge.

This new partnership is an excellent opportunity for The Chiswick Cinema, with Porsche Centre West London, to deliver a vibrant community and social space.

Guests in attendance watched a special short film, Porsche: Chasing Dreams for 75 Years, were treated to a screening of the award-winning film, All Quiet on the Western Front, and Head Chef Redmond Hayward laid on a small taster of his dynamic menu range.

The Taycan Lounge will open at midday daily with a full restaurant service of food until 9pm, and drinks served shortly after, depending on film times.

The lounge is a great space to socialise and meet fellow film fans. There’s a fabulous selection of beers, wines and spirits and some delicious homemade food for customers to enjoy.

Kathryn Smith, General Manager of the Chiswick Cinema: “Working closely with the team at Porsche Centre West London, we’ve been able to bring an exciting rebrand for what was our Founder Members Bar into the vibrant community space that is the Taycan Lounge.

“For our Founder Members, we’ve got some really exciting opportunities in there, from complimentary birthday meals, to exclusive cocktails, tasting events and so much more but we’re also excited to welcome a wider Chiswick audience to the Lounge, and make it the exciting community hub we all want it to be. I can’t wait for everything to come from this innovative, unique partnership. What a pleasure it is to be working with Porsche Centre West London at the forefront of what independent cinema can be.”

Alasdair Jakes, Porsche Centre West London: “You can watch any film you like on a streaming service, and you can buy any car you like, but nothing beats the big screen experience; the sound, the immersion, the image. Much like you can’t beat driving a sports car. And that’s why we are so passionate and excited about this partnership, especially in Porsche’s 75th year.”

Chris Parker, Marketing Executive of the Chiswick Cinema: “What a thrilling partnership we have for our customers and the Chiswick community. An independent cinema like us can really benefit from such a bold partnership with a brand like Porsche. Tasting events, Member experiences, right down to facilitating some local business connections makes this something with boundless potential.”
