THE LEHMAN TRILOGY OPENS IN SYDNEY

The Lehman Trilogy’s Australian season has commenced at Theatre Royal Sydney.

Produced by The National Theatre and Neal Street Productions Ltd in association with Trafalgar Entertainment, The Lehman Trilogy stars Aaron Krohn, Howard W. Overshown and Adrian Schiller who play over 50 characters, including the Lehman brothers, in an extraordinary feat of storytelling that spans over 150 years.

The show plays until 24 March.

The Lehman Trilogy is written by Stefano Massini, adapted by Ben Power and directed by multi-award-winning director, Sam Mendes, with set design by Es Devlin.

On a cold September morning in 1844, a young man from Bavaria stands on a New York dockside dreaming of a new life in the new world. He is joined by his two brothers, and an American epic begins. 163 years later, the firm they establish – Lehman Brothers – spectacularly collapses into bankruptcy, triggering the largest financial crisis in history.
