Trafalgar Education Launches New Podcast – Performing in Life

30 September 2025

Trafalgar Education, home to Stagecoach Performing Arts and Drama Kids, is proud to announce the launch of Performing in Life — a brand-new podcast exploring the power of confidence, creativity, and the stories that shape us.

With over 80 years of combined experience in performing arts education worldwide, Trafalgar Education has empowered generations of young people to find their voice through creativity. Now, with Performing in Life, the conversation continues. Each episode invites a diverse range of guests — from West End stars to business leaders and educators — to share the personal props, stories, and lessons that have helped them perform not just on stage, but in life.

The debut episode (which drops today) features West End actress and Stagecoach Principal Sophie Isaacs (Six, Heathers), who reflects on the childhood prop that inspired her journey, the legacy of confidence passed down through her family, and how resilience, teamwork, and creativity have guided her career both on and off stage.

Performing in Life is available to stream now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and YouTube.

Episode 1: Spotlight, Stagecoach & Six – Juggling it all with Sophie Isaacs

Our very first guest on Performing in Life is the brilliant Sophie Isaacs – West End performer (Six, Heathers, Rocky Horror), Actor, Stagecoach Principal, and so much more.

In this episode, Sophie brings along a childhood item, her copy of the Whistle Down the Wind libretto, and shares how it sparked her journey from young Stagecoach student to professional performer and now the business owner of a Stagecoach franchise.

With warmth and honesty, Sophie reflects on her proudest moments, toughest challenges, and the joy of watching her students thrive.
