Stagecoach Performing Arts named the UK’s No.1 franchise for 2026

Stagecoach Performing Arts is celebrating a history-making triumph after being named the UK’s no.1 franchise in the 2026 Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) – becoming the first children’s services brand ever to reach the top spot and the first new brand to reach the position in five years.

Rising from fourth place in 2025 to claim this year’s crown, the brand has delivered an exceptional leap forward that reflects a year of bold ideas, strategic innovation and a network fuelled by genuine creative passion.

Regarded as the most influential benchmark in UK franchising, the EF100 – established in association with HSBC – is judged by 24 independent experts who evaluate brands on financial performance, innovation, franchisee support, community impact, and long-term growth. Securing the number one ranking marks a defining moment in Stagecoach’s 35-year story.

Over the past year, the brand has introduced a wave of exciting developments, including the launch of its dynamic Creative Courage for Life marketing campaign – a vibrant celebration of the confidence, imagination and life skills students gain both on and off stage. The refreshed campaign has helped franchisees reach more families and shine a brighter light on the life-changing power of performing arts.
