Trafalgar Entertainment’s Joint CEOs and Co-Founders, Sir Howard Panter and Dame Rosemary Squire hold steady at no.9 in The Stage 100 this year, as the theatre industry publication unveils its 2026 countdown of the most influential people in UK theatre.
The Stage said: ‘Last year, Trafalgar Entertainment persuaded New York’s Shubert Organization to partner with it for 50% ownership and operation of the new 1,575-seat Olympia Theatre in London, which will mark the first time in 100 years that the US company will have had a UK presence. The Olympia will become TE’s 21st venue across London, the UK and Australia when it opens in 2027.
‘TE also unveiled a new production hub for its pantomime arm in Coventry, which will be the headquarters of Imagine Theatre, acquired by TE in 2023, while Gary Roden will join venues division Trafalgar Theatres in the new role of chief operating officer. TE was also behind Good Night, Oscar, starring Sean Hayes and Fiddler on the Roof, which ran at the Barbican. Meanwhile, Squire rejoined the Society of London Theatre board. The organisation continues to grow at pace.’
