HIGH SOCIETY
BARBICAN THEATRE, LONDON | 19 MAY – 11 JULY 2026
From the producers of the smash hit sold-out musical sensations Anything Goes, Fiddler on the Roof and Kiss Me, Kate, Cole Porter’s “razor sharp wit” returns to the Barbican in this lavish and much-anticipated new production of Porter’s musical masterpiece High Society this summer starring national treasures Helen George (Call the Midwife, The King and I) and Felicity Kendal (The Good Life, Anything Goes) making their much-anticipated return to the West End. Following the Barbican season, the musical will immediately embark on major 20-week UK and Ireland tour – starring Helen George – opening at the Wycombe Swan.

SHADOWLANDS
ALDWYCH THEATRE, LONDON | 5 FEBRUARY – 9 MAY 2026
Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey, Paddington, Twenty Twelve) stars as C.S. Lewis in Shadowlands alongside Maggie Siff (Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Billions) as the spirited American poet Joy Davidman, whose unexpected love transforms the orderly academic life of C.S Lewis – the celebrated author of The Chronicles of Narnia.

DOUBLE INDEMNITY

Hollywood star Mischa Barton (The O.C.) brings some much-needed Californian sunshine to the UK as she makes her long-awaited UK stage debut as the ultimate femme fatale in Double Indemnity, a gripping, seductive pre-West End adaptation of one of the greatest crime novels of the 20th century, written by James M. Cain. A seductive tale of deceit, corruption, murder, and mystery that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The story that inspired Billy Wilder’s legendary film noir masterpiece (winner of seven Oscars, two Golden Globes, and a BAFTA) opens at Eastbourne’s Devonshire Park Theatre on 5 February 2026 and then travels to cities and towns in the UK and Ireland until May.

Olivier Award-winning West End star Beverley Knight takes to the stage as the roof-raising ‘godmother of rock ’n’ roll’ in a sparkling new play with music celebrating the life and legacy of Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Influencing everyone from Elvis Presley to Johnny Cash, Rosetta transformed gospel music with her electrifying guitar style and fearless embrace of rhythm and blues. Set in Mississippi in 1946, the story follows her partnership with the saintly young singer Marie Knight (Ntombizodwa Ndlovu) as they prepare to tour the segregated southern States. Featuring a wealth of joyous rock and gospel classics including Didn’t It Rain and Peace in the Valley, the production restores two forgotten musical heroines to the spotlight as one of the most revolutionary duos in music history.

The Rocky Horror Show is heading to New York! Directed by Tony Award-winner Sam Pinkleton (Oh, Mary!), the show will play at Studio 54 on Broadway. The cast of Richard O’Brien’s cult musical will be led by stage and screen star Luke Evans, making his Broadway debut as Frank-N-Furter.

OTHELLO
IN CINEMAS FROM 4 MARCH 2026
Shakespeare’s Othello starring David Harewood, Toby Jones, Caitlin FitzGerald, Vinette Robinson and Luke Treadaway comes to cinemas in 2026. Filmed live at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket, directed by Tom Morris, with design by Ti Green, music by PJ Harvey with Jon Nicholls, and presented in association with Spiritland Productions, the play will be screened in cinemas across the UK, US, Australia and selected international territories from 4 March 2026.

OH, MARY!

See Mason Alexander Park as Mary Todd Lincoln giving ‘the funniest performance in town’ (The Telegraph). Oh, Mary! is an uproariously dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires abound in this 80-minute one-act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln, through the lens of an idiot (playwright Cole Escola).
