The 50th Anniversary Olivier Awards took place at London’s Royal Albert Hall last night, and it was great news for Good Night, Oscar and Oh, Mary! (currently playing at Trafalgar Theatre).
The award for OUTSTANDING MUSICAL CONTRIBUTION went to Chris Fenwick (Musical Supervision & Arrangements) and Sean Hayes (Live Piano Performance of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue) for Good Night, Oscar at the Barbican Theatre.
Emmy, Tony, and now Olivier Award-winner Sean, made his West End debut at the Barbican last summer to reprise his much-lauded Tony Award-winning performance of Hollywood actor and concert pianist, Oscar Levant in Good Night, Oscar. The show was produced by Trafalgar Theatre Productions.

West End sensation Oh, Mary! by Cole Escola, currently enjoying a successful run at Trafalgar Theatre, was crowned winner of BEST NEW ENTERTAINMENT OR COMEDY PLAY.
Comedian and actor Catherine Tate will take over the role of Mary Todd Lincoln from the current and original star Mason Alexander Park on 27 April.
