Fans have shared their enthusiasm for the gig and the venue online. Writing on Instagram, Adam Bat, said: “It’s incredible to see my childhood cinema transformed into such a great event space. Hopefully word will get around how it’s the perfect venue for warm up shows like this. It could be as big a deal as the Piece Hall is in Halifax.”
Micky Carbine also praised the show on his Instagram account, “Gorillaz were utterly brilliant last night. Bradford Live as a venue itself is amazing and is exactly what Bradford as a city has needed for decades,” he said.
“A modern venue facilities wise, but stripped back inside to the original brickwork and old windows, giving it the feel of a proper huge old school venue. Beautiful historic building inside and out,” he added.

Over on X, Kowalski said: “Gorillaz warm up, as fun and eclectic as ever. Bradford Live new venue to me, absolutely loved it – perfect size, great sound and fantastic staff.”
On Facebook, My Life in Jen, said: “Went to see Gorillaz at Bradford Live and they were incredible. Thanks Bradford Live for putting them on, the new venue looks amazing and we’re looking forward to coming back.”
Michael Cawdry said: “Great night out in Bradford to see Gorillaz at Bradford Live. Third time to this place now, it’s great having a venue of this calibre on your doorstep.”
While Lee Oman, added: “Brilliant to have Gorillaz live in Bradford at an amazing venue AT LAST!”

Bradford Live – the beating heart of Bradford – is a world class 4,000 maximum capacity multipurpose live entertainment venue, located in the heart of Bradford city centre. The former Odeon Cinema was originally built in 1930s. Following its closure in 2000, the magnificent art deco building has now been fully restored with a £50m investment, bringing it back to its former glory as a major live music, entertainment, events, and conferencing hub for the city.
