Following its high-voltage return to Broadway last month, the cult-classic musical has received a staggering nine Tony Award nominations, cementing its status as one of the year’s most acclaimed productions.
The Roundabout Theatre Company revival, which opened at Studio 54 to an explosion of critical praise, is directed by Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton and stars Luke Evans in a commanding turn that has electrified audiences and critics alike. This bold reimagining breathes new life into Richard O’Brien’s beloved musical, blending rebellious spirit with contemporary theatrical flair while honouring the show’s legendary legacy.
Among its top honours, The Rocky Horror Show is nominated for Best Revival of a Musical, recognizing the producing team led by the Roundabout Theatre Company alongside Todd Haimes, Scott Ellis, Sydney Beers, Christopher Nave, Rebecca Habel, Trafalgar Entertainment, and The Dodgers.
