Creative Learning is our community-first programme that widens access to creative participation, builds belonging and wellbeing, and opens pathways.

What we do

  • Creative participation
Workshops, youth theatres, holiday projects and community-led activities designed to engage people of all ages and backgrounds. Programmes vary by venue to meet local needs.
  • Pathways for young people
Opportunities to learn, perform and explore creative careers through youth theatre, Summer Youth Productions and other training experiences.
  • Community programmes
Activity that strengthens local connection and wellbeing, including Memory Cafés, Dementia Film Screenings, art therapy sessions and community choirs.
  • Inclusive access
Work designed to remove barriers, with subsidised opportunities and activities supporting participation for disabled participants, older adults and those facing isolation.

We exist to widen access to the arts and transform lives at scale—creating inclusive participation and pathways that strengthen communities.

Trafalgar Entertainment Trust is the charitable arm of Trafalgar Entertainment. Its purpose is to widen access to the arts and ensure that creative participation is available to people of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances.

The Trust supports a wide range of Creative Learning activity across Trafalgar Theatres. This includes youth programmes, community projects, wellbeing‑focused initiatives, partnerships with schools and local organisations, and opportunities that help people develop creative skills and explore future pathways in the arts.

Its work is designed to remove barriers, strengthen local communities and ensure that theatre and creative engagement remain open, inclusive and relevant. Funding from the Trust helps provide subsidised opportunities, accessible sessions and programmes that respond to community needs.
